New Delhi – Arjun Kumar, President of the world-renowned Luv Kush Ramleela Committee held at the Red Fort grounds, stated that Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar observed the Lord Shri Ram’s Leela at the Leela venue, sought blessings from Lord Shri Ramchandra Ji, and extended heartfelt greetings to all Ram devotees for the festival of Dussehra in advance.Leela President Arjun Kumar stated that the Leela began with Ganesh Vandana. The Leela enacted the killing of Kumbhakaran, the Laxman-Meghnad battle, Meghnad’s killing, Sulochana’s request for Ravana’s head, Sulochana’s arrival at Ram’s camp, and her return with her husband’s head.According to Arjun Kumar, all the Ram devotees sitting on the ground clapped after seeing the powerful performance of former Mayor BJP leader Jathedar Avtar Singh Kumbhakaran, who has a heavy body weighing 131 kg and a loud voice.

To wake Kumbhakaran from eternal sleep in the sound of stereo digital sound, 8 track sound, earth shaking sound, trumpeting of elephant, roar of lion, more than a hundred pots were broken, he was woken up by piercing with arrows and spears, sound of drums and nagada, 120 kg sweets, food and hundreds of litres of water were given to him to eat. For the Dussehra festival, the effigies of Ravana, Kumbhakaran, and Meghnad have been created at the Red Fort grounds, the venue of the play. When an arrow is shot at Ravana’s effigy, nectar will fall from its navel, its eyes will roll, and tears of blood will flow from its eyes. Swords will be seen swinging in its hands. Ten garlands of different colors will be seen around Ravana’s neck. The effigy will be burned while chanting “Hey Ram, Hey Ram.” Arrangements for installing the effigies of Ravana, Kumbhakaran, and Meghnad have begun at the same play site.After the play, the committee’s general secretary, Subhash Goyal, chairman Pawan Gupta, senior vice president Satyabhushan Jain, Saurav Gupta, Sandeep Bhutani, treasurer Ankur Goyal, Leela minister Praveen Singhal, Rajesh Verma, Gaurav Suri, Rajkumar Gupta, Viru Singhi, Lokesh Bansal, and other officials honored all the guests, and the play concluded with the aarti and worship of Lord Shri Ram.
