NEW DELHI-A valedictory ceremony for the 29th batch of Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) personnel was held on 28th February 2025 at the auditorium of the Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga under the “Certificate Course in Yoga for Wellness Instructor” (CCYWI). A total of 99 personnel from various CAPF units participated in the event.
Dr Kashinath Samagandi, Director of MDNIY graced the occasion as the chief guest. In his address, he motivated the personnel by stating, “This is not merely a valedictory ceremony but the beginning of a new journey in your lives. You are the soldiers of the nation, yet here, you have experienced the joy of student life—an opportunity as precious as gold. I hope that the invaluable experiences you have gained here will serve both you and society in a meaningful way.”
Md. Taiyab Alam, Communications & Documentation Officer and Deputy Director(A/c.), remarked, “Having successfully completed this course, you have now become master trainers in Yoga, making your role highly significant. On a personal level, I have observed your Shatkarmapractices, and seeing your dedication fills me with immense pride.”
In the same vein, Dr I. N. Acharya, Programme Officer (Yoga Therapy), congratulated the personnel on their achievement and encouraged them to continue refining their Yoga practice while fulfilling their professional responsibilities.
During the event, the personnel also shared their positive experiences and insights gained from the training.
